A major earthquake felt in Delhi-NCR, UP and Bihar districts as it hit Nepal on Friday night. The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.4. Tremors came at 11.32pm and lasted for a few seconds but triggered panic among the people. The quake's epicentre was in Nepal, about 251km from Lucknow, said Mohammad Danish, senior scientist at the state met department. Eyewitnesses reported the collapse of houses in the affected area. Residents of high-rise buildings took to the streets in Delhi-NCR.
